Earthy

Trees
Maroons and dark greens
And park scenes
Light rains
But fresh air
Removes tight reins
Oxygen birthing
Anew
The precious moments
We've few
Spent too long
In the confines
So our minds
Had little company
With air
And little friendship
With the wind
Silent conversations
With the breeze
And with ease
We can walk
Through this British weather
With the Sun, wind and rain together
Given the chance we would stay forever
But confines call us
And insanity beckons
Our camels we must tether
If we had no need,
Perhaps the Earth we wouldn't treasure
